Factorio is addicting as hell. Haven't played in a long time though, so I dunno what they've added. I bought it before it was on Steam and got a complimentary steam key from them. Spent like a whole week doing nothing but setting it up. Once you get the drones, the conveyors become a lot less necessary on close quarter resource points. If you like logistics, it's the game for you.

My first experience with rimworld was the multiplayer mod with ~15 people. It was fucking chaotic. Everyone has equal control of anyone else's character, and while we followed a loose "only use your own character" rule, half of us ended up addicted to luciferium anyway

My experience with Rimworld multiplayer, is every 20 seconds something fails and someone has to resync.

We didn't have any resync issues, but we did have the game crash when we tried out the ratkin mod

If you put enough passive coolers in a room it can turn to a fridge. Helps mitigate the food loss in low tech playthroughs.

My biggest issue with bigger colonies is the maids not keeping the place clean enough when you have like 100 alpacas so I'd keep them outdoors but then after every raid I'd have to round them all up again

Just make animal areas. 1 for normal colony life and one in a safe spot in the colony for raids. Then just switch em out

That's what I ended up doing and I might've been playing an outdated version, but you'd have to click or click drag all 100 animals during any raid which was a minor inconvenience but still pretty tedious

I imagine it will just fine. A 3050 Ti is okay. Best to check the TDP of that chip in that laptop, as laptop GPUs don't make sense unless you know how much wattage it can draw
